外気を遮断し液・ガスの放出がなくす特殊な密閉バルブを装備し性能低下の要因でもある空気中の酸素の進入を防ぎ、スポンジ状マットに電解液を保持する高性能軽量自動車用バッテリーです。
内部抵抗を低減させ、優れた電導効率と長寿命化を実現する鉛合金極板を使用しエネルギー密度の高い放電・出力特性を誇ります。特殊スポンジ状グラスファイバーマットが極板を走行中の振動から保護すると同時に電解液を保持し気化ガス、分離液を再度吸収しバッテリー性能劣化を抑えます。
また、横倒しに搭載しても電解液の漏れの心配もなく、外形寸法もコンパクトなサイズでスバル用としては約4kgの軽量化も達成しています。
